Virgie Sowards, 73, of Hampden passed away March 15th, 2009. Services were conducted Thursday, March 19, 2009 at Isaban Church of God with the Rev. Clinton Coleman officiating. Burial followed in the Sowards Cemetery at Isaban.

Mounts Funeral Home of Gilbert were in charge of arrangments.
