He was born Dec. 27, 1920 at Millers Creek, W.Va. to the late John B. And Virgie Thomepson Newsome.
Funeral services were held at the Chafin Funeral Home Chapel Wednesday June 10, 2010 at 1 p.m. with Ministers, Gene Clemons and Donnie Estep officiating. Burial foll;owed at the Mt, View Memory Gardens at Maher, W.Va.
Arrangements were under the direction of Chafiin Funeral Home.
